This isn't much of a poem
Hardly a story
Or a tale of some sort.
Simply a thought
A cry
A wonder
of the future.
Life has taken me
To the ends of the earth.
Times have changed
I've watched them fly by.
My life has changed
Oh don't I know it.
I ask myself
Was it worth it?
Living this life
Loving these people.
Perhaps I will never know.
I question the universe.
Asking whom I am to be.
A writer,
A monster
A lover.
The world has no ends
All doors are open.
The questions of the heart
Fill the air around us.
As we breathe in
The worries
The fright
The hope
We sigh out
The future
Decisions
Who we are.
So I'll run.
I will run to the edge
Of life itself
And come back to tell you
All that I learned.
Give me some time,
I'll make my mistakes.
I'll try harder than the rest.
But give me your time
And I will be there for you.
Let me run free
The forest doth beckon me.
This thought does not follow.
It has no order.
The words were thrown
Like paint on a canvas
Made by a toddler.
So listen to my heart.
Hear my prayer.
As we walk this path
Hand in hand.

So remember that time I tried to figure out who I was. . . 
This was basically just me throwing my thoughts onto paper. I know it's not very organized or flowy or really following any rule of poetry, but hey! that's why they call it free verse right?
It took me forever to decide whether to post this or not so I hope you like it! Let me know what could be fixed and what you liked/didn't like. Y'all are my favorites 
and HEY! Remember to love yourself! It's the only you you got so you better treat it right. Trust me it's worth it

There's nothing to fix and the flow - that's you telling your story or a million people's stories of the constant search for meaning or love or a life which can help others to live more fully. Cool! I love your words.
